[TRANS] Jo Seung Woo And Kim Junsu Are Rivals? In Fact, Warm Friendship That Helps Each Other‏


It is safe to say that the two major “Ticket Power” in musical industry are actors Jo Seung Woo and Kim Junsu. Not only the two are not rivals, they in fact have a heartwarming senior-junior friendship.
Kim Junsu and Jo Seung Woo respectively acted in Tears Of Heaven and Jekyll & Hyde, gathering topics due to the rivalry on musical stage. However recently Kim Junsu went to watch Jo Seung Woo’s musical Zorro and attended his ‘Perfect Game’ VIP premiere, thus garnering attention. The two who seems to have no interactions led others curious about their friendship.


Recently in an interview, Jo Seung Woo complimented Kim Junsu with “Outstanding actor and junior” and said, “I previously told Junsu to come and watch my movie. I didn’t expect him to come. Junsu said to me, ‘Hyung, this movie is indeed interesting!’”
According to a related representative, “The two often kept in contact and sent messages to each other. As a musical actor, Jo Seung Woo rather dote on Kim Junsu. He would give advices with regards to acting and the way they interacted was rather heartwarming. Though the both of them are musical actors and were often seen as competitors, in fact they support and take care of each other with their senior-junior relationship. After Kim Junsu watched the ‘Perfect Game’, he was moved once again by Jo Seung Woo’s acting and greatly recommended this movie to his friends.”
During his interview with Osen, Kim Junsu also said, “I truly hope that one day I’m able to stand on the same stage with Senior Jo Seung Woo.”, relaying his respect for Jo Seung Woo.
