“My treat today!”
It could be truly say that it is a ‘lucky day’ today? To be able to have a meal with the dream ‘oppa’, the fans who gathered on this day should probably be sleepless after the excitement. The unplanned surprise birthday party, Yunho and fans shared a special memory on the 6th of February.
On the evening of the 6th around 7pm, Yunho was in a restaurant at Apgujeong and there were many Korean and International fans who gathered outside the shop. Upon asking that we know that it was Yunho’s birthday and every fans brought their exquisite presents for him, while staring at Yunho who was inside the restaurant.
However at this point of time, Yunho’s voice can be heard in the restaurant.
“Those who want to have a meal, please come in~”
This is indeed an unique way of expressing love to the fans. As Yunho saw the disappointing faces of the fans who were waiting outside, he called out to the fans waiting outside, asking them to come in and have a meal. Unexpectedly that Yunho treated his fans so especially well and the expression on his face was unbelievable as he looked at them, smiling away.
Really caring. Yunho treated every fan who sat in the restaurant with gamjatang and while awaiting for food to arrive, he greeted the fans. When gamjatang was served, fans said, “Oppa, we will enjoy the meal,” and ate it deliciously. Yunho delightfully looked at the fans.
After the harmonious meal, Yunho and fans went out of the gamjatang restaurant and fans said together, “Oppa, we ate well”, “It’s really delicious”, “Happy Birthday”, expressing their thanks. It was just like a fan meeting and indeed a meaningful birthday.
Yunho waved his hands slightly embarrassedly and upon receiving the presents from the fans, he nodded and said his thanks. Indeed a polite idol, so are the fans. After the unwilling farewell, Yunho went on his car and left.
What was Yunho’s usual clothing style? A comfortable style unlike an idol. Yunho wore a tee with a sea-scenery graphic and a black jacket with yellow inner lining. Though a casual outfit, it was as charming as a performance outfit, and the newly dyed bright hair colour was rather suitable.
There was none of the usual disguise, the usual idol’s mask and cap were not used. Totally ignoring the looks from the surroundings and no-cover chic look, directly chatting and greeting the fans. This is probably the reason why Yunho was able to gain the love and protection from the fans for so long.
Yunho and Changmin are currently as TVXQ and they are world idol stars who received love and protection from fans, not only in Korea, but also from around the world such as Europe. However in front of their fans, he was a limitless and affectionate oppa and friend. Hopefully in future, he will be able to continue the good friendship with his fans and Dispatch will once again support him.
