Tohoshinki will be releasing their new single on 14 March. The music video for the single has been completed and revealed.
The concept for this time’s music video is, “Feelings towards people who are no longer here”, and the video expresses the feelings of “sadness”, “loneliness” and “frustration”.
For the first time, the duo acted a little to express sadness. The video is a valuable one, which showcases the charms of both Yunho and Changmin as actors.
An entire day of filming took place in a studio in a metropolitan area, during a break in late January amidst their concert tour. There were also thoughts of shooting at actual locations, but due to much confusion, sets such as the cafe were built, and filming was done within the studio.
Treadmills were used in the scene where (they) walk along the streets. The orientation of the treadmills was changed multiple times during the shooting to create a sense of hustle and bustle on the streets and emphasise the sense of loneliness.
(Tohoshinki) themselves made the following comments:
“We wanted to showcase the sense of loneliness by having scenes where we sit in cafes and watch crowds of people walk by, or where we stand alone while people in front and behind us are walking.” (Changmin)
“A part to look out for would be the look in our eyes while we lip-sync with sad expressions. I think it was really touching. So much so that we felt embarrassed ourselves. (laughs)” (Yunho)
