Idol group MBLAQ, which recently wrapped up promotions for their fourth mini-album, recently participated in a photo shoot that gave off a fresh feel of the new spring season.
The boys who have only displayed their fierce, masculine images on stage showcased a new light and jaunty side of themselves.
Mir, Lee Joon, Thunder, Seungho, and G.O. looked like dandy city gentleman wearing casual yet fashionable and colorful items, giving them a softer and more approachable look.
Photographer Hwang Young Chul, who led the shoot, remarked, “The goal for this photo shoot was to toss aside MBLAQ’s bold and intense image, and to give them a softer look. We tried to capture each of the members’ unique facial expressions, and gave them accessories that went well with their fresh and casual look, bringing out their individual characters.”
“They looked a bit awkward at first, but I was really surprised at how quickly they adjusted,” he continued. “It’s been a while since I’ve worked with an artist, and it was a lot of fun.”
This year, fans are looking forward to a new and improved MBLAQ, who will be broadening their horizons promoting as unit groups, trying their hand at acting, and more.
