With the best 20 singing groups of Korea, the 2012 I Love Korea Dream Concert will be held on May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
The concert is organized by Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association (president Kim Young Jin) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Hyundai Oil Bank. It is considered as the biggest concert event in Korea and has been held for 18 years. On April 5, the association revealed the date and place of the event along with the list of participating singers.
The list included following singing groups to perform at the event: TVXQ, SNSD, Kara, T-ara, IU, 2PM, B2ST, 2AM, Secret, Miss A, MBLAQ, Sistar, 4Minute, Infinite, ZE:A, Davichi, K.Will, and Teen Top.
President Kim Young Jin said, “I hope this concert will help many young adults around the world go after their new dreams and ideal goals through the world of music where there are no boundaries.”
During the concert, some scholarships will be given to underprivileged adolescents by Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association and Hyundai Oil Bank. The intention is to send them a message of hope for they are often discouraged to follow their dreams in a limited environment.
The tickets for the event will be available from April 17th on the official website of Dream Concert which is created within the Hyundai Oil Bank webpage. You can purchase the tickets after creating an account.
