JYJ’s Junsu will comeback in May with his very first solo album and an Asian Tour. On April 16, CJ-eS Entertainment said in a press release, “JYJ Junsu’s first solo album will be released in May. He will hold a concert in Korea and an Asian Tour later as well.”
This would be Junsu’s first solo album in his career, since debuting in 2004. Junsu will oversee the whole production of the album, while writing most of the songs. The album is reported to come with a variety of genres, ranging from R&B and ballad to dance music.
In addition, Junsu decided to shun the debut showcase, and instead have his own concerts in Korea and six other Asian countries. His first concert will be held in Seoul on May 19 and 20, and will later lead into his Asian Tour visiting Thailand, Macao, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Shanghai. For this album, Junsu will not put much emphasis on TV promotions.
Since 2010, Junsu has been spending a lot of his time on musical shows, appearing in shows such as “Mozart” and “Tears of Heaven.” He’s received multiple awards for his musical roles, including “Rookie of the Year” and “Most Popular Actor” awards at the “Seoul Music Awards.”
