[NEWS] 120503 Kim Junsu to Make Most Anticipated Comeback

JYJ’s Kim Junsu was chosen as the artist whose comeback is the most anticipated by music fans, battling out even "the nation’s little sister", IU.

The music site Monkey 3 had its users vote in a poll on ‘the most anticipated comeback of May’, held from April 26-May 2. A total of 356 people voted in the poll, and chose JYJ’s Kim Junsu out of Baek Ji Young, LeeSsang, IU, Infinite and Ulala Session.

Kim Junsu made it to the top with a landslide 40 percent of the votes. The singer previously heightened anticipation for his first solo album with a teaser poster and the release of the title of his album, Xia. The first single cut of the album, Tarantallegra, was composed by Kim Junsu himself.

Meanwhile, IU came in second with 14 percent. Her upcoming single album Spring at the Age of Twenty, to be released on May 11, contains three tracks, and on May 4, IU will provide a preview of the album with the release of Peach, a track she wrote herself. Because her new songs will be sweet love songs, her fans are anticipating what new side of IU they’ll be meeting next.

Infinite followed in third place with 13 percent, garnering attention for its comeback after gathering popularity with Be Mine, the hip-hop duo LeeSsang came in fourth with 12 percent, Ulala Session, winning team of Mnet’s Superstar K3, came in fifth with 12 percent and Baek Ji Young could be found on sixth with nine percent.
