Fans of JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong have broken a new record.
A press conference for MBC‘s new drama ‘Dr. Jin‘ took place at Lotte Hotel on May 17th, and the entrance was full of ‘rice’ wreaths’ sent in by fans in support of one of the lead actors, Kim Jaejoong.
Jaejoong’s fans broke a new record by sending in a total of 23.68 tons of rice, which is more than double of the previous record.
The wreaths came from not only Korea, but Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, England, the United States., Vietnam, and more, proving Kim Jaejoong’s worldwide impact.
Meanwhile, Jaejoong is trying his hand at a historical drama for the first time through ‘Dr. Jin’, playing the role of Kim Kyung Tak. The first episode airs on May 26th at 9:50PM KST.
