Fans are frantically trying to get their hands on tickets for TVXQ‘s live tour, even if it means buying tickets for the worst seats possible.
Japanese magazine Women Seven conducted short interviews with fans that were desperate to get their tickets for ‘TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012~TONE~‘ that began on January 18th at the Yokohama Arena.
This tour will cover 11 different cities and the boys will be performing for an estimated number of 450,000 fans in total. The tour will come to an end with four separate performances at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka.
One female fan remarked, “Even the fan club members could not get tickets this time, and it is extremely frustrating. Some tickets will be drawn at the venue upon entry, but they are not guaranteed. Now they have began selling tickets for seats from spots where the main stage will not even be visible.”
These tickets are being sold for about $100, and TVXQ’s Japanese agency AVEX explained via their official website, “You will be unable to see the videos or the members performing from these seats. The main stage will not be visible from these seats,” warning fans that they will not be able to see the show from these areas.
Despite this knowledge, fans are buying the tickets anyway. “It was an area where all the performance equipment was, but I think I was able to see better than the second or third tiers,” one fan remarked.
Another added, “I could only see Yunho and Changmin’s backs during the main performance, but they traveled to each corner of the stage and sometimes I could even see the balls of sweats on their faces.”
Would you pay $100 for these type of tickets for your favorite artist?
