The popular mystery writer Takamura Kaoru’s debut novel has been made into a movie by genius directer Izutsu Kazuyuki. The movie “Ougon wo Daite Tobe(Fly with the Gold)”(in theaters 11/3) stars Tsumabuki Satoshi,Asano Tadanobu and the other co-stars became a hot topic already. The story revolves around 6 men who try to steal the 24billion yen that’s sleeping in the mega bank. However the person who subsequently has presence is Tohoshinki’s Changmin.
In his own country, he has history of being on television and movies, however in Japan, this is his first actor debut. There must have been pressure, but he shows a passionate acting as well as a surprising cosplay and different disguise.
In the movie, he plays a ex North Korean spy, that is an expert at bombs. In his usual life he part times at a Tofu store, and having the older women customers saying “its a waste to keep you as a Tofu store worker~” and really being a tofu-store worker. Also, since he has a skillful hand, not only does he create bombs, but makes work clothes for an elevator company using a sewing machine, and showing a surprising side.
And of course, being in disguise is easy being a spy, there is a scene where he cross dresses as a women to avoid the public’s eye, but its good as the character Tsumabuki Satoshi acts as Kouda misunderstands him as a real women, and even the bomb skills, bombing his own apartment without leaving any tracks behind, and not leaving any marks on the other rooms.
Miraculously, today 10/2(Tue) is what the Japan Tofu Community picked as once a year “Tofu Day” in 1993. If there is a tofu-store worker that is so handsome, even if it’s not Changmin, you would want to go everyday!?
