[TRANS] 130703 ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ Viewers Are Moved By Max Changmin’s Tears, He’s Amazing Though He Lost
Max Changmin shed some emotional tears last night.
The episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 2nd of July showed the celebrity team’s last bowling match, which was against the Gwangju Ssangchoon-dong team.
On this day, Max Changmin was the last to play, with the fate of the game resting in his hands. Max Changmin had escaped his title as ‘The Fool of Bowling’ and was slowly but surely making his spot as an ace in the team. That effort shone through in his latest match. Max Changmin showcased an amazing concentration as he hit a spare for each round.
However, he could not escape his nerves. Max Changmin had to put his ball down and take a deep breath to control his pace. Unfortunately, Max Changmin lost the match to his opponent Park Dong Hyuk’s strike. His eyes were brimming with tears because he felt sorry and disappointed.
Although Max Changmin was unable to gift his team with a victory, everyone was surprised by his concentration and speed of improvement. He congratulated his opponent’s victory with tears running down his face.
Max Changmin said, “I tried to get myself ready from the middle of Lee Soo Geun’s match, but because it’s a match, my palms got sweaty and the ball slid off my thumb. Although I’ll have a lot of regrets about this bowling match, I did my best and didn’t let my concentration fall.”

[TRANS] 130316 Kangta Says, “My Heart Goes Out To TVXQ As They Walk Down A Path Similar To HOT’s”
Kangta appeared on YTN’s ‘News12 – Issue & People’ that aired on the 15th and said, “Like HOT, only two of the original five members of TVXQ stayed in the company.”
He also stated, “TVXQ are going through the same things that I once went through. They’re walking down a path similar to the one I walked down once. When I think about the fact that they’re probably suffering from the same worries and troubles that I went through, my heart goes out to them and I feel a lot of affection for them.”
Kangta added, “The advice that I can give to the members of TVXQ is, ‘Nothing can be helped about the fact that things change as time passes.’ You need to recognize that a celebrity’s position and popularity will change, and I hope that they strengthen their internal stability by preparing skills and talents for other things they could do in the future.”
He revealed, “That’s how you can survive when your popularity isn’t as great as it was before. I don’t have much to say to them now because they’re doing so well. But I’d like them to be prepared to beat out their loneliness with internal stability in the future.”

[TRANS] 130314 TVXQ Appear In A Preview For A Japanese Drama, ‘Anticipations Shooting High’
TVXQ have appeared in a preview of the FujiTV drama ‘Saki’.

[TRANS] 130313 Jung Yunho Talks About Leaving ‘Queen Of Ambition’ “It Became A Stepping Stone For My Acting Skills”
Singer and actor Jung Yunho opened up about leaving SBS’ ‘Queen of Ambition’.
The 18th episode of ‘Queen of Ambition’ marked the end of Jung Yunho’s role in the drama and Jung Yunho said, “I learned the importance of trust through this drama,” and “I did my best and worked hard to make this drama a stepping stone for my lacking acting skills.”
The ‘trust’ that Jung Yunho talked about had three meanings behind it. Trust formed with his fellow cast members and staff who suffered through cold weather and busy schedules with him. The trust of true family love that he expressed to his mother Do Kyung (Kim Sung Ryeong) and his wife Da Hae (Soo Ae). And the trust and support that viewers gave him, for which he is extremely grateful.
It was found that though he is a member of the Hallyu group TVXQ, Jung Yunho emphasized his status as a rookie actor and worked very hard for his role. A representative of the drama explained that Jung Yunho asked for advice from his seniors, calling Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae ‘Jae Woong hyung’ and ‘Da Hae noona’, and even took on unpleasant tasks with a smile on his face as the youngest person on set, exuding an easy-going, human side.
PD Jo Young Kwang, as well as the cast and staff of ‘Queen of Ambition’ gave Jung Yunho a round of applause after he was done filming. Jung Yunho shook hands with them and hugged them, expressing his sorrow of leaving the drama.
Meanwhile, the 18th episode of ‘Queen of Ambition’ recorded viewer ratings of 18.3% according to Nielsen Korea.

[TRANS] 130313 Max Changmin Says, “I’ve Once Liked A Woman Who Wasn’t My Girlfriend At That Time”
Kim Tae Woo, and 2AM’s Changmin and Jin Woon appeared on the last episode of ‘Moonlight Prince’ that aired on the 12th and talked about what ‘men’ are like in the perspective of men through Steve Harvey’s book.
A college student who appeared on the show as a guest asked Max Changmin, “Isn’t it true to say that if a guy cheats on you once, he’ll keep cheating on you?”
Max Changmin honestly replied, “I’ve never cheated on someone before, but I’ve once liked a woman (who wasn’t my girlfriend at that time).” He said, “It’s not that I loved them both. I was split between the two of them but I broke off everything to do with that person and returned to my girlfriend,” and “If you see someone and think, ‘This person could be my soul mate,’ then I think it’s entirely possible for a guy to waver.”
He also added, “I don’t believe you can divide all men into cheating players and guys who see noone but one girl. Being swayed isn’t cheating on your partner.”
Kim Tae Woo also stated, “Being swayed really isn’t cheating, ” and “And just because a guy cheats on his partner once, doesn’t mean he’ll always do it again.”

[TRANS] 130214 Super Junior & TVXQ Awarded Best Albums Of The Quarter At The “Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards”
Super Junior and TVXQ were awarded “Singer of The Year” awards under the album category for the 3rd and 4th quarter (of last year) respectively during the “2nd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards”, which were held at the Olympic Hall at the Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the evening of 13 Feb.
TVXQ’s “Catch Me” ranked first in the fourth quarter with sales of over 120,000 copies. Changmin was unable to attend the ceremony on this day due to filming for “Moonlight Prince”, and hence only Yunho was in attendance. Yunho also went onto say, “I think that for a singer, singing and expressing yourself on stage is the answer. Even 10, 20 years from now, we will be singers that are answerable (to everyone) on stage.
The “Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards” are based on accurate and objective data obtained from Gaon Chart results (digital music downloads, record sales). The “Singer of the Year” awards this time are awarded to artistes whose record sales ranked number one in each of the respective four quarters from January to December 2012.

[TRANS] 130123 Max Changmin Paves The Way To Becoming The Prince Of Variety Shows In ‘Moonlight Prince’
The MC who stood out in KBS’s new variety program ‘Moonlight Prince’ on the 22nd was none other than Max Changmin. Even though he was wedged between veterans of the variety sector such as Kang Ho Dong and Tak Jae Hoon, he made his presence known with his witty and unexpected charm.
He began by seeing Kang Ho Dong, who appeared in a Peter Pan costume, and saying, “You’re making us all uncomfortable.” With appropriate gestures responding to his fellow MCs’ conversations, he had the studio in an uproar with his silver tongue as he broke his princely and modest image. He stated, “I didn’t date that much when I was a student. If I were able to go back to middle school, I would meet as many girls as I could.”
He continued to draw people’s attention when he made a confession about his beautiful (?) deviation from his model student life when he stopped talking to his father for three days because his father was against him becoming a trainee and making his debut as an idol singer.
