[TRANS] 130314 TVXQ Appear In A Preview For A Japanese Drama, ‘Anticipations Shooting High’

TVXQ have appeared in a preview of the FujiTV drama ‘Saki’.

In the preview of the last episode of the FujiTV drama ‘Saki’, a scene showing TVXQ making a cameo appearance in a cafe was aired and drew the viewers’ attention. This is the first time that TVXQ have appeared in a Japanese drama and the cameo took place at the request of the drama’s director during TVXQ’s visit to the drama’s set to support the cast and staff.

Though all that was aired was the members eating cake and showing how delicious it was on their faces, it was enough to capture the attention of the viewers. A screenshot of TVXQ’s appearance began circulating on Japanese SNS as soon as the preview aired and quickly spread to Korean community sites as well.

Netizens who saw the preview left comments such as, “My heart feels like it’s going to explode, even though all they’re doing is eating cake and smiling”, “They’ll be on for a good portion of the episode, right?” and “It’s a heart-warming screenshot.”

[TRANS] 130114 TVXQ To Release The Japanese Version Of ‘Catch Me’ In Their New Single On The 16th

TVXQ will be releasing a new single in Japan and pursuing activities there once again.
The Japanese version of ‘Catch Me -If you wanna’ and ‘I Know’ will be included in TVXQ’s 36th Japanese single.
‘Catch Me’ was the title song of TVXQ’s 6th album, which was released last October as their first Korean album in one year and eight months, and is a new-age dance song that combines electronic sound with an orchestra, as well as dub step and an easy-to-follow melody. The song has already become a hot topic for being chosen as the title song for the FujiTV suspense drama ‘Saki’, which began airing on the 8th.
The second song ‘I Know’ is a melodious ballad that expresses the feelings of a man who swears an eternal love for his beloved, who has already changed her mind. The group plans to entrance their fans with a new kind of charm with ‘I Know’ as it is completely different from the powerful and charismatic title song ‘Catch Me’.
Meanwhile, TVXQ will be starting their Dome Tour on the 27th of April at the Saitama Super Arena, as well as Tokyo Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome and Sapporo Dome.

[TRANS] 121002 Scene From Tohoshinki’s Changmin’s Movie Debut In Japan Revealed!

A scene from the movie “Fly With The Gold”, starring Tsumabuki Satoshi, Asano Tadanobu, Kiritani Kenta, Mizobata Junpei and Tohoshinki’s Changmin was released on 2 Oct, in commemoration of “Tofu Day”. The scene features Cho Lee Han (played by Changmin) working part-time at a tofu shop.

“Fly With The Gold” is based on the crime-mystery novel by Takamura Kaoru, and depicts the story of 6 men who try to steal 240 billion yen worth of gold bullions from a bank. It stars Tsumabuki, and is directed by director Kazuyuki Izutsu.

In this movie, Changmin plays the role of Cho Lee Han, who appears to be a university exchange student who works part-time at a tofu shop. He is a mysterious figure, who joins the group as a bomb expert, and whom Koda (Tsumabuki) calls “Momo”. The story depicts how the pasts that each of the characters carry with them causes them to influence the process of the burglary in various ways. The character “Momo”, which Changmin plays, is an undercover spy for his country, and carries past which he cannot reveal to the group. He ends up being the target of people who are after his life.

Director Kazuyuki Izutsu explained that Changmin had been decided for the role of Momo because they “wanted a fresh and real casting”. As it is his first appearance in a Japanese movie, we anticipate the new side of him that will be shown under the guidance of director Kazuyuki Izutsu.
