“We are the best on stage… Have to do it even it’s killing us”

Many people asked TVXQ of the reason behind the endless activities and the secret behind the way to the top every time. Facing such questions, TVXQ always humbly and confidently answered.

“During every moment on stage, we have the confidence that we are the best. Though it seems high and proud, but we work it harder than anybody else.”

Of course, just being confident and proud will not be able to sustain long in the music industry. TVXQ also know this well. Max Changmin said, “In order to present the extreme best, and our growth, we made a lot of effort.” Additionally, he also confidently said, “Though the people who take note of us will understand, but at least TVXQ’s stage is comparable to anybody’s stage. We have our own style and charm.”

“Though many do it with their will but we have many dances that we have to do it with our might. The dance moves are very strong too. Every time we step on stage, it feels like we are on a death battle. Maybe it’s because of this, there are many who look forward to our performances. Starting from somewhere, normal guys gave us their thumbs up too. We ever said in ‘Knee-drop Guru’” that ‘we hope to achieve 3.25% of male fans.’ Now we hope to achieve 5-6%.”

Though U-know Yunho and Max Changmin are only in their twenties, one can feel the aging years in them. Whenever juniors said “I had a dream as singer because of TVXQ”, “I wish to become the next TVXQ”, it made others feel that “Time has passed by so fast after all.” They ever said before too, that they had a dream of becoming a singer after seeing H.O.T. MBLAQ’s G.O. said this before, “(TVXQ) Hyungs are like the seniors with the most ‘senior-like’ aura.”

To TVXQ, which juniors did really well then? Omitting juniors from own label, Changmin said it is CNBLUE and U-Know Yunho mentioned F.T. Island, CNBLUE and IU. As for the reasons, they said that “They really did a lot of performances and really have etiquette on stage.” Yunho strongly praised IU, “It’s rare to have such a vocal at her age, she feels like a real artiste. Within her age group, her potential is the best.”

Lastly, we asked TVXQ for some advices for the juniors. U-Know Yunho said, “Recently everyone did very well and it was a motivation for us.” And continued astonishingly, “There’s a lot who did unexpectedly well, presenting themselves in a youthful way.” Followed by some suggestions, “During the newcomer period, though one has to be like a newcomer (though we are like this when we were newcomers too), the most important thing to remember is that personality and ability can be slowly accumulated but it’s not the same for the style of a group.”

“Recently there were many shining pebbles and the music potential are very good too. If were to present an extraordinary aspect, one should find the style that belonged to the group first. This is what I felt that is the most important. To ensure own’s style and present it out is the way to evolve into a more handsome artist.”
